Custom create your Tests through these 3 simple stages and start inviting candidates to your Tests
A) Create -> B) Add Questions -> C) Invite Candidates
A) Create: The button to create a new Test is available at either the “Home page” or the “Tests page”. Navigate to one of the pages to create a new Test.
a) From the Home page or the dashboard, click on the blue button (+) to create a new test
b) If you are on the Test page, you can click CREATE NEW TEST button as shown below:
2. Entering Name & Duration for the Test
Give a name to your test (For e.g. Java Developer, Senior Python Engineer, Senior Elves Warrior etc.)
The default duration of every test is 120 minutes. However, you can change the duration based on your requirements.
Click on the CREATE TEST button to proceed ahead.
PS: The Name and the Duration can be changed later from the “Test->General Settings” page
B) Adding questions to the Test
Click on ADD PROBLEMS. This will open an i-frame to your Library.
Apply filters that are available at the left side of the screen to filter out the questions from the Library.

Click on the + signsto add the desired questions to your Test
Close the Library i-frame
The test is now ready to be sent to the candidates. However if you wish to customize the Test please read below the various features that you can enable.
You can also add Multiple Sections to the Tests and enable the following functionalities to the Test:
Randomization: Randomly choose problems for each candidate out of your chosen set of problems.
Problem Shuffle: Different candidates will see different ordering of problems in this section.
Timed Sections: Add a duration to a section (If 1 section is timed, all other section should be timed as well)
Custom Scoring: Set score and penalty for all problems in this section
Public access settings
Create a publicly accessible link for this test, and share it with candidates. Optionally, you can password-protect it. Anyone can take this test using this URL.
Candidate data settings
Customize what data you're capturing from the candidates who take this test. All this data will be part of the test report. If you've enabled DoSelect profile completion, you shall be able to see extra data about the candidate from sources like GitHub and Stack Overflow.
This will capture the following data:
Verified phone number
School and work info
Proficiency and activity metrics based on GitHub and Stack Overflow
If you wish to capture more information from the candidates you can use the Custom fields to create a custom form, which the candidate should fill before they start taking the Test.

Track tab activity
Disable copy-paste of solutions
Prevent multi-window test sessions
Capture browser fingerprint
By adding a start and end time for this test, you can restrict the duration in which this test will be accessible to the candidates.
Invitation settings & reminders
Add support contacts here. Candidates will be able to see this information in the invitation email and in the test window.

Once you have gone through the Advanced settings you can start inviting the candidate by one of the following ways:
From the platform using email addresses, click on the INVITE CANDIDATE button shown in the image below
Sharing the Public URL that we created in the Advance>Public access settings
